READ AND VIEW SOME PHOTOS!
Our Eagle Rock has been there to witness some
interesting times. The
Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society has provided some photos
and captions to get you started with local history. I've also included
a historical story that was condensed by Joanne
Turner for TERA that makes for interesting reading. In July of 2000, Nancy
Moure spoke to the Historical Society about the veritable artist's colony
of Eagle Rock. Read
"Art in Eagle Rock".
These little looks into the past just
might start you looking for more! The Historical Society has quite a bit
more. You're welcome to go and help as they meet Saturday mornings at
the Eagle Rock Community Cultural Center (downstairs at 10 a.m.) Their
address is 2225 Colorado Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90041. The Cultural
Center is one block west of Eagle Rock Boulevard.
